Seasons are determined by the resort management
High season - 10th December 2010 – 2nd January 2011 (minimum stay 7 nights)
Easter - 1st April 2010 – 5th April 2010 (four nights inclusive)
Mid season -all weekends, school holidays, public holidays, as determined by management.
Low season -mid week

Tariffs are quoted per night excepting for weekends (2 nights), Easter (4 nights), valid 12h00 on arrival and 10h00 on the
day of departure, weekend 2 nights, Easter 4 nights.

a) A deposit will be required within three days after making the reservation (50% of total unless stay is less
than four days then the total will be required as a deposit.

b) Balance of payment is due on arrival.
c) Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will be refunded (less 10% handing fee) or transferred, if done
so in writing. Thereafter refunds or transfers will only be made if the unit has been relet.
d) No refunds or transfers will be considered for late arrivals or early departures.
e) Arrivals after 18h30 should make arrangements prior to arriving at the resort. For a caravan or camping site
a refundable deposit of R200 will be required at arrival between 18h30 and 21h00, no arrivals after 21h00.
f) Rental periods are from 12h00 on arrival, to 10h00 on the day of departure.
g) Credit cards, cash, traveller's cheques, and bank guaranteed cheques are only accepted.

Rules and conditions:

1.) No motorcycles or quad bikes allowed onto the premises.
2.) No excessive noise, drunkenness, fireworks, crackers, or music will be tolerated.
3.) No speeding in the resort.
4.) No glass or alcohol allowed into the pool areas.
5.) No diving into pools allowed.
6.) Only swim wear allowed in pools.
7.) No pets in pool or chalet areas allowed.
8.) No tractor or car inner tubes allowed into pools.
9.) An adult must accompany children under the age of 12 to the pools
10.) All residents and their visitors are taken to have read and accepted all the conditions and rules of the resort.

INDEMNITY:

THE COMPANY AS WELL AS COMPANY DIRECTORS AND ITS MANAGEMENT ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DEATHS, INJURY, OR ILLNESS SUSTAINED OR SUFFERED BY ANY PERSON, OR THEFT, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, OCCURRING WITHIN OR ARISING FROM A VISIT TO THE RESORT HOWSOEVER CAUSED AND WHETHER DUE TO THE NEGLEGANCE OF THE COMPANY, SERVANTS, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, OR ARISING FROM THE USE OF ANY FACILITY.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS:

The accommodation at Merry Pebbles Resort has been designed to accommodate families, and therefore is not suitable for single sex groups be it male or female. (Most units have double beds)

All accommodation units are fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, bedding, and towels for the specified number of guests per unit. (SUPPLY OWN SWIMMING TOWELS), fridges, at least a two plate stove (see accommodation details for specification), TV with DSTV hotel package, braai, & patio furniture.

All units are serviced daily, excepting for dishes.

Departure time is before 10h00 on day of departure, to allow servicing for arrivals at 12h00.

Lodge: (Sleeps 6 persons), double story, three bedrooms (1x double bed, 4x single beds, linen), two bathrooms (1x shower, toilet, basin, 1x bath, toilet, basin and towels), kitchen (four plate stove with oven, microwave oven, fridge, crockery and cutlery), living area (sleeper couch with linen, fire place), dining room, patio and furniture. (Provide own swimming towels)

Chalet 1: (sleeps 8 persons), four bedrooms (1x double bed, 6x single beds and linen), bathroom (bath only, toilet, basin, towels), kitchen (four plate stove, microwave oven, fridge, cutlery and crockery), dinning room, living area. (Provide own swimming towels)

Chalet 2: (sleeps 6 persons), three bedrooms (1x double bed, 3x singles, 1x double bunk and linen), bathroom (bath only, toilet, basin, towels), kitchen (three plate stove, microwave oven, fridge, crockery and cutlery), living room (1x bed, linen), dinning area. (Provide own swimming towels)

Tulbach: (sleeps 4 persons), two bedrooms (1x double, 2x singles) Bathroom separate toilet (bath/shower, basin, towels), living area (sleeper couch, linen) kitchen three plate stove, microwave oven, pots pans, cutlery and crockery. (supply own swimming towels).

Drakensburg: (sleeps 4 persons), two bedrooms (1x double bed, 2x single beds and linen), bathroom (bath & shower, toilet, basin, towels), living area (sleeper couch, linen), kitchen (three plate stove with oven, microwave oven, fridge, cutlery and crockery). (Provide own swimming towels)

Plettenberg: (sleeps 2 adults, 2 small children), two bedroom (1x double bed, 1x double bunk and linen), bathroom (shower only, toilet, basin and towels), kitchen (three plate stove with oven, fridge, cutlery and crockery), living area (two sleeper couches with linen). (Provide own swimming towels)

Cottage: (sleeps 2 adults and 2 children), one bedroom (double bed, linen), living area (1x double sleeper couch, linen), bathroom (bath & shower, toilet, basin, towels), kitchen (three plate stove with oven, fridge, crockery and cutlery). (Provide own swimming towels)

Mini Plettenberg: (sleeps 2 adults, 2 children), one bedroom (double bed, linen), living area (2x single sleeper couch, linen), bathroom (shower, toilet, basin, towels), kitchen, (three plate stove with oven, fridge, crockery and cutlery). (Provide own swimming towels.)

Cabana: (sleeps 2 adults, 2 children), open plan bachelor flat, (1x double bed or 2x single beds, 1x double bunk with linen), bathroom (bath & shower, toilet, basin, towels), kitchenette (two plate stove, bar fridge, cutlery and crockery). (Provide own swimming towels)

Caravan and camping sites: (maximum 8 persons per site) level sites, all with 15amp three-pin plug, braai (provide own grid).
